| In the beginning back in 2006, trying to put Dropdown together was not easily accomplished. With time, we have learned to adjust and tweek our sound, as well as ourselves. Finding the right pieces to puzzle can be very discouraging. Yet with persistence, has also proved to be extremely gratifying. Trying to pick a genre has proved to be the most difficult. Our Covers our best described as 80's 90's & now. Looking back on 2009 & 2010 It was a great year. In winning WSRK's "Battle of the Bands" we received more recognition than we could have ever expected. From hearing our music on the radio, To hearing the radio Dj's compliment our band on the air. Getting the opportunity to play for thousands of people at Neawha Parks Annual 4th of July Celebration. We have had many articles in the local newspaper "The Daily Star" written about us with many photos of us published. We were the mentioned several times on TV and have received e-mails from several Labels inquiring about us. And for us, thats pretty cool. We thank all of our fans for your constant support. To see the same faces at every show, no matter where we play is awesome. We are still adding many new requested songs to our shows. We have slowed our bookings down a bit for winter, But will be Hammering shows in the spring, summer, & fall. After some disappointing auditions,Dropdown welcomes our new Bass Player WES. He is the right guy for the job. He truly has earned his place in the band with awesome Bass skills & great vocals |
